What happened Cory?
Someone was supposed to come in today for a timing chain tensioner, but last night he was driving and the motor locked up. I'm gonna pull it out today and pull the head and see what kind of damage occurred.

So, I'm out for Sonic on July 10th (Saturday). The woman leaves early Sunday AM, and wants to spend some quality alone time together before her departure for a week. So, we will be there the 9th (Friday), and someone else can set up the Saturday meet.

Well, I got the motor out around 10:30ish this morning, and just got the chance to put it on the engine stand and tear it apart. #2 rod bearing didn't like where it was supposed to be, and spun 90*. It ended up mating itself on top of the half of the bearing. The motor was locked up tight. Popped the rod cap off, pulled out the piece of bearing that was left, and now she spins again. Crank is tore up, rod and cap are F'd, chunks in the oil pan. It may be cheaper to get a used motor than fix this one. We shall see.

Call Inline Pro, believe they have a handful of motors laying around.

Mr. Mitchell can make that call.

This one is fixable, just depends on how much $ it's actually going to cost to get it right vs. buying another motor.
