j's/amuse/mugen

Will it make a differenenc and will you make tons of power???

Probably not. I had the mugen and enjoyed it just due to the looks I guess. I couldn't feel any real power gains. I could have probably spent $1,200 elsewhere.

The header alone will make little or no difference except in sound and weight (and heaven's forbid reliability). It will make the most difference when you combine it with other "free-flowing" mods like an intake and exhaust and then use a VAFC or aftermarket ECU.
I'm sure you already know this.
Take for example the Mugen header (which I have). A lot of guys on s2ki got this and immediately went to the dyno. To their chagrin, they actually lost a couple of hp up top, but gained a lot of usable torque in the mid-range where the s2k needs it the most (right before and after VTEC).
The next rage in the s2ki community was when Toda released their header, and it actually didn't lose power anywhere in the range, and gained a little bit just about everywhere. Only problem was that the bracket was notorious for cracking.
The Spoon header I believe is a 4-1 design and benefits the very top of the rpm range but sacrifices a little down low.
I haven't heard too much about the Amuse (though mice has this) and the J's Racing.
DO NOT get the DC sports header. This actually loses power with no gains

Take this all with a grain of salt, as YMMV depending on how your header reacts to the other mods you plan on doing with your set up. For example, Mike (mice) actually lost power after installing the Amuse header & dual Ti exhaust (he did a baseline at the same shop the week before). He didn't have an intake (except the Spoon snorkel) or an ecu/vafc at the time. He then did a simple modification to the stock airbox by cutting a hole in his faux air duct in the front bumper routing cold air directly into another hole he cut into his airbox and then was making more power than his stock baseline.

It seems that the S2K needs to breathe. It needs to take in as much air as it can get. I wish I had done this mod on my car when it was stock so I could chart how much of an improvement it did.

Perhaps you'll get an owner of a stock s2k to participate in the experiment.

IMO go with Toda or J's Racing for any type of proven gains throughout. Amuse and Mugen are pretty pieces but dont really help unless you have like what Steve was saying the Mugen intake, header, exhaust, SS front bumper, ECU. Which I know he has all of those plus a couple other goodies right?

Good luck.

To back up what McCurry had posted about different headers may react to other mods you have or plan to add. Here

Mike, I still say you need a properly made intake for the car. Your setup, although it flows better than stock is still not optimal. By getting a properly made and tuned CAI, you should realize more HP. Remember the box sitting by my door? That one kicks butt!!!

Rick, Does this mean you are going to sponsor me a Mugen CAI?

Thank you very much. Mike
