I know the stock temp gauge isn't very accurate but if it drops to 2 bars driving on the freeway should I be concerned? Wouldn't that mean that it's dropping below the proper operating temp? Oh and plus I have a Koyo radiator to cools things down even more. If I'm not mistaken, the Spoon thermostat opens about 10 degrees colder than the Mugen.

That was one of the first things I've done to my car. If you have the Hondata IAG, you don't need to do it.

So how does this mod affect the IAT? Because you don't have hot coolant running to the IM? And if that's the case, why did Honda do this? The other thread recommend the balls be removed during the winter time. Why? Sorry for the noob questions.

They run coolant through the throttle body mainly for those who live where it snows... where you don't want the valve to stick during startup. Aside from that, moisture sometimes builds up around the throttle valve and may prevent it from closing properly until everything has warmed up. In Hawaii, this is completely unnecessary.
