My car has all of that plus gears, and it still does it all the time, whether it's with the stock intake or my injen cai. It's so irritating.

It's your fuel map it's got a nasty hole in it...that's why you're unloading in 3rd. Lengthen the injector pulse tune the nos and you'll run 9s. Hahaha nah mackey you got those hoses you needed yet?

please tell me you had to watch the movie again to get that whole phrase and that it wasn't memorized!

Before I modded the car, I used to get the lurch occasionally. Like everyone else is posting, pretty much in traffic, when you're idling a lot and there's a lot of heatsoak in the engine bay.
I would just push in the clutch, blip the throttle, and reengage clutch (not at a higher rev unless you're mad!)
It is irritating when it happens. I guess the s2k doesn't like stop-n-go traffic.
