What's up? I'll be movin' to Oahu in May. I'm looking for a nice apartment not to far from Pearl Harbor, any suggestions? I'd like a place where my car's not gonna get f'ed with. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Later.

 

I just moved here myself and so far I love it! I do not know the area well enough at this point in time to tell you where a nice place to live near P.H. is. I live in Waikiki and although it is expensive (rent wise) I feel my car is very safe. My car had A LOT to do with where I live. I wanted a garage. I got a fully covered, reserved parking space inside my building and they have 24 hr. security to boot. PM me if you have any questions... what kind of car do you have?

I agree. Waikiki is a very safe place for your car, so long as the building you choose has secured parking. If you have any visible mods whatsoever, you will get pulled over though.

 

Check out some of the high rises in Aiea/Pearl City. I think a few of them have secured garage parking. There are some pretty sketchy neighboorhoods right around Pearl Harbor though, so definitely check a place out before you sign anything.
