Long story but the NY store doesn't take the gift certificate that Monique's (my wife) sister bought her. The Ala Moana store won't take the gift certificate back since it is made out to Monique. Even though her sister has the purchase receipt. So we have a gift certificate that expires in 6 months that we can't use. We asked if we can order something over the phone and use the certificate, but they won't do that either since you have to sign it over in person and show id. They won't let her sister use the certificate since it isn't made out to her. even though her name is filled out in the "From" section. The 866-Vuitton number says it is something that needs to be worked out by the store manager (no help there). In fact when her sister went to use the certificate they insisted that Monique would be able to use it in NY. Which of course was not the case, and was verified by the folks at 866-Vuitton today. So if someone here has a connection, it would be appreciated. We just want to use the damn certificate, it's not like we want to make any money out of the ordeal.

My ex-girlfriend works there. I talk to her from time to time. I will call her this week and see if she can pull any strings. She is an asst. manager so hopefully she can do something. If she cant I will let you know.
Hows the car running? I may be moving up to the Comptech supercharger very soon. Finally.

Chris, thanks, we just called them again, and they said they will contact the NY store for me to see if something can be worked out. Which is stupid since the gift certificate is in Hawaii so I don't know why they won't just take it. LMK what you can come up with, it would be appreciated.

Cars running good, I just got the 4.44 gears installed along with the Toda Head. Need to do a little break-in driving and then the fun begins. Comptech Supercharger? Nice I probably should have done that in the first place and save myself some money

Dont feel bad. I spent close to $10,000 on wheels alone over the past 2 years. I just picked up another brand new set of Spoon SW388s.
I will let you know if she can help. Cheryl doesnt like me talking to her. Its a girl thing.

Speaking of LV, my girlfriend just bought me a LV "Doc" Pen for my Birthday! It actually writes better then my Mont Blanc. But then again, the LV is a Rollerball and the MB is a Ballpoint. Both has it's advantages. We know one of the salesperson pretty good there so I'll mention it to him next time I'm there or if I run into him soon.

Thanks, I think we have the problem solved finally. After a few complaints and follow-up phone calls, the store manager finally agreed to let her sister use the certificate. We'll see how it goes. It only took about 10 long distance phone calls and 4 visits to LV stores.
