So I was driving down Ala Moana Blvd where all that road work is happening, and I drove over a steel plate like I do everyday.

I guess I was going a little too fast this time… My front lip hit the plate, came completely off, and broke in half while it dragged under my car.

I stopped at the first street parking around the corner and walked back down Ala Moana Blvd to get the other half of my lip off the road. I couldn't find it, so I walked back to my car.

And now there's a sherif parked behind me. f@#k.

I explained what happened and why I was parked there. I noticed at that time that the other half of my lip was still stuck under my car.

They were cool and helped me get it out from under my car and were on their way. They didn't say anything about my expired safety or registration.

As much as it sucks to lose my OEM AP1 lip, its good knowing there are cops who will help.

 

That sucks. but i guess its good to know that there are some understanding police officers and sheriffs. Also, you must be bummed that you still haven't sold your car haha.

 

ouch! cool of the sherrifs. my run ins with them haven't been so pleasant had all their tickets thrown out

 

such a nice day today and i'm stuck at home with my daughter while wifey worked a half and has a meeting with our financial adviser @ 130

 

just in case some people dont check out the swap meet, i added a tw/fs post for a friend trying get rid of his m3 to get into an s.

 

 

from pc, traffic into ewa, traffic out of ewa, accident at waimalu, two semi's trying to pass each other on h3 = 1.5 hour commute

well he failed to send me the tracking numbers yesterday and didnt respond to my txt messages, but he sent me the tracking today finally. should be here next tuesday. about danm time.

i was blowin up his phone everyday for the last couple of months. youd think he would get annoyed enough to get off his ass and send my rims.
