Yeah, I used Loctite with patching material I got from Walmart to patch my top from the inside and it held up fairly well. Main reason for me to swap out the top was the plastic window -- it started to look wrinkled all the time and I do miss the larger "window" sometimes.

Oh, does anyone here know of a place to get 303 or Raggtop Fabric cleaner/protectant locally? I could order it online, but the shipping is a freaking joke.

What kind of patch did you use? Any experience in the rain with it? A thief ripped the equivalent of an index card and I don't want to cough up 500 (deductible) for some thief's work =\

Walmart or any fabric store has patches for canvas/cloth for under $4. Patch from the inside...depending on the type of rip/tear, patching from the inside can be almost undetectable from my experience. Not sure about an "index" size tear, though.

I wouldn't sew it up if I could help it. It never looks good, no matter how well it's done.

Oh..I have Raggtop on order...The shipping is going to cost more than the product itself. I can't believe there is NO ONE on this Island that sells Raggtop/303 FOR FABRIC.
