Default soft top trouble

i just installed new hardtop strikers in hope to completely seal the top to the frame. i searched and read that the new strikers would cure the problem but its still the same. is it possible to replace the hinges on the soft top? the little tip on the hinge is worn and the hook it really loose. if not where do you guys suggest i take it to fix? i think im going deaf from the wind noise already

i've heard of people slipping a little piece of rubber tubing on the hooks to try and create a tighter seal. you might want to try that out.

i actually wrapped the hook with electrical tape but thats too ghetto. some kind of rubber tubing is not a bad idea but a professional job or replacement parts would be nice.

marc2 : did you try posting this in the Under the Hood forum? I'll bet you someone there would have some insight since they're pretty good about these atypical questions. It's amazing what some of these forum members know.
