Comptec Icebox or Arc intake system and why? i ordered arc but its on national backorder waited 3 months decicing if i should just pic up the comp tec please help

 

I wouldn't get Arc unless you like heatsoak. The design of the Arc intake sucks in hot air in the engine compartment, while Comptech sucks in cold air from the fender area.

 

I wasn't happy the way my COMPTEC fit. Or maybe I just don't have skills when it comes to installing and modifying the car.

If I could do it over again I would still get the comptec but I would get the hood dampers instead of using my dremil to make the hood latch fit.

my comptech fits like crap too.

i think im pretty skilled as far as modding stuff. idk.

 

bring all of the comptechs to me and i will cut and weld and whatever and make it fit! hahaha!!!!

 

Maybe you could do this for me too when I give you a call for the headlights????

 

im with mckay on this one. i had the ARC intake for a few months, sold it, and went back to the oem box. if you like a loud and nice looking intake, oh and lots of heat bog go for it.
