I am all about heat wrapping stuff, but if I use the aluminum heat wrap on my ARC intake would that possibly alleviate some of the heat soak that causes it to lose power; or would the fact that it is sucking in air from under the hood still make it...well...not as good?

 

just get a vented hood, to help with heat soak! tada!!

 

The same air that is heating your airbox is the same air thats getting sucked into the ARC filter.. IMO its not gonna do anything for you. I had to get rid of my ARC because I moved up to NYC and the heatsoak from the stop and go traffic was not tolerable.

 

The ARC,is a Hot Air Intake.!!!

 

heat soak maybe but who cares.... its one nice bling bling...

i used to have one...heat soak couldnt tell a difference... i compared it to my aem.. the arc seems to run a little bit faster...

and i replace the arc with mugen.. now a big difference...
