Default 7psi with Stock Comptech Kit 2.2L

Quite a few people are running the high boost (AP2) pulley on their stock AP1 Comptech kits with just some FPR adjustments. I know that Comptech says that it should be fine (although it voids the blower warranty). Has anyone run a 7psi pulley on a AP2 with the stock kit (no EMS or injectors)?

The "stock" pulley for the AP2 is Comptech's "high boost" pulley (aka 7psi) used on the AP1's. You'll need a something smaller for the AP2 to achieve > stock boost.

The 7psi pulley made for the AP1 kit will only do like 5psi. I had the 9psi AP1 pulley which made 6.6psi. At this point it was running just a tad bit lean and I put in 550s.

I don't remember for sure now but I think that the AP1 stock Comptech pulley was either .15" or .25" larger than the AP2 pulley, both the kits still ran 5.5 psi.

The only thing I can say for sure is the the 3.25" pulley ran 13.5 psi.

This thread is exactly why we need to refer to the pulley size and not "pounds."
