Default Elda Engineering Turbo Kit

Ok, I think this is gonna be my 3rd time posting this, hopefully it won't disappear again lol.

Ok, August Super Street issue, page 146.

There's a little article on the kit and then a whole installation write-up on it.

From what I can gather, this kit is suppose to be install and forget, IMO a competitor for the 2 supercharger kits. If that's the case, then SWEET!

You guys will have to read it for yourselves, it's suppose to retail for $6000 and comes with everything you need, including the FMU. 5psi of boost using a ball-bearing Garret-Airesearch T3/T4 hybrid turbo with .48 A/R and 60-I compressor trim....

So who's gonna be first to get this other than the test car

Damn thats a lot of cake for a basic kit. The inlinePRO kit comes with a lot more than that for less money and it looks damn clean. Check out my new install.

There is no such thing as an "install and forget" turbo kit. Turbo kits always need some attention to keep running perfectly. Tuning is the key.

I know that Wael is very meticulous and takes great pride in anything he develops. If I remember right he was working on a turbo kit with Corky Bell, so you can be sure that this isn't something just put together to make a quick buck.

BTW, I am pretty sure that is his car as he had it sent to Corky Bell for the development.

^Yes, the article did mention that the kit was co-developed by Bell Engineering.

to Corky Bell, guys been doing FI since the begining....

Remember the lowest price isn't always the best.....I would be willing to believe that with this kit you get what you pay for.....now if only it were CARB legal

This is a turbo, not a supercharger. Based on PMantis24's description "and comes with everything you need" I would assume that includes a front-mount air-air intercooler...

I saw Wael yesterday and got to drive his car. He has just returned form TX where Corky Bell developed his turbo system. Wael drove the car back from Texas! It does have a water-air intercooler and developes power extremely smoothly! There are still a few pieces he wants finished before offering his kit, but anyone who is interested will defiantly not be disappointed. I believe he does intend to make sure that the system is CARB certified. Wael mentioned this a few times in passing when was explaining the design concepts behind what he and Corky put together. Timetable???? Don't ask me
