Cleared my corners and used LEDS (pics)
Well I spent my weekend clearing my corners. It was a bitch, but I like the end result.
I decided to use amber LEDs so that the bulb would be clear when unlit and amber when lit so that it would look good yet be legal and people would still notice my turn signal. I also changed the parking lights to bright white LEDs, assuming that there was no law on parking lights.
I got the idea from NFRs2000NYC as he showed in this thread: http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.p...threadid=195330
Late saturday I did the bumper, headlight removal, and wiring.
Found this when taking off the bumper:

I did the rest sunday. Switching the diffusers was a lot harder than I expected and the baking/prying was scurry.
Although the LEDs themselves were clear, the socket they were in was a yellow color that the manufacturer uses to distinguish the light color. I found that too much of it was exposed and it showed through the diffuser, so I busted out the touch up paint:

This turned out to work really well. Check out the effect the suzuka blue makes:

Doesn't show up from other angles:

Parking lights don't seem to match the HIDs as well as expected, but I bet they make a better match from a distance.

Also, I apologize for the dirty car. I went to Bartlet lake the day before and had to drive on some dirt plus I killed eleventy billion bugs on the way back.at night

7443 6 LED bulbs for turn signals and 168 6 LED bulbs for parking lights. You also need the resistors they sell for the turn signal bulbs in order to prevent hyperblink.
The sites service was fine. Ordered on a saturday and they got here the friday after. Nothing spectacular, but they did come.
