Default The New Honda TV Ad (in its entirety)

Guys,

Some of you may enjoy this ..... (well I thought it was worth posting)

Its not an S2000.... but I noticed a few S2000 influences on the Accord components??

You can pick up this ad from your local Honda dealer on DVD with how it was made (not worth watching) an animated who's who of the advert (this is the piston, this is the camshaft, etc.) but what really makes it worthwhile is the original video of the soundtrack "Bang Bang Boogie" by the Sugarhill Gang.

Ahhh they just don't make 'em like that anymore!

.....probably just as well....

.....hang on, most of you won't even know who I'm on about.

D.

Did anyone see the article in the Sunday Telegraph about this ad last week.

It took them 606 attempts to get the sequence to work

Great ad though!

About as reliable as the cars themselves then? I wonder if mine will work correctly after 606 attemps by Honda to fix it?

Clever advert, but I find the message offensive, especially as the shortened version finishes with Honda and does not mention the Accord. Evidently they still haven't solved the clutch / gearbox issues on the 03 and Honda dealers still routine damage airbox and cam covers, although Honda (UK) are aware of this problem for over a year.

Has anyone written to the ITC or ASA? I am going to make a formal complaint, just wondered if anyone has a letter I may copy?

yours is quite clearly one-off case rich and so would carry little weight with the ITC or ASA?!?!
