Default Carbon Fiber Hood

How much difference is the weight between a stock hood and a carbon fiber hood?

close to nothing, the oem hood is already light and hard to beat. cf hoods are either cosmetic or for venting purposes if its a non oem type.

The stock hood is 3 lbs heavier than a Vis OEM CF hood. Peanuts really. Unless you get a CF hood with a functional heat extractor, you'd be more impressed with a titanium exhaust... 7 lbs vs 30lbs stock.

You ae losing even more weight with a Ti exhaust. The stocker is more in the range of 55lbs.

I think most aftermarket exhausts weigh 30-35 lbs.

Thanks for clarifying.... I've only had to lift one oem... As for aftermarkets weighing 30-35???? Maybe dual canisters, but I think I'd still have a problem paying for that much weight...
