I don't recommend the sharpened chopstick method for removing the wheel caps, or prying them out with a covered screwdriver. I didn't try it, because any error will be visible after the project. It's very easy to remove the wheel and tap out the cap from the inside, and you won't risk scratching the cap, or the wheel.
The OEM clear coat and the black "H" come right off with paint stripper, which doesn't harm the aluminum finish at all.
Because the aluminum scratches so easily, the caps need to be clear coated, just like the wheel. I have to put a few more coats of clear on them, and polish them, then I will reinstall them and show you some final photos.

Wow, i'm just going to reiterate that I think yours is the best looking S2000 on this board, or that I've seen at all. Awesome work, very tasteful, very clean, excellent. keep up the good work and let us see those tail lights if you ever got them finished!

The shaved center caps aren't on, yet.
I'm having to repaint the clear coat several times. I have to paint outside, and small particles keep getting on the wet clear, so I have to let the caps completely dry, then rub them out, and reshoot the clear. It will probably be a couple more days until they are finished, but I will definitely post pics!
