Default Helm scan of rear bumber removal?

Some chump hit my baby in the parking garage today and pushed in the metal part where the plastic bumper meets the metal rear quarter panel. (no note of course) I am going to have to remove the bumper to bend the metal mack. "IT" also left a scuff mark on the bumper that I am going to have to touch up

If anyone has the helm scan of the bumper removal or a detailed write up, you would be helping a fellow S2K owner make it though a really dark emotional time right now..... ::sips 5th beer::

the rear bumper is very very easy to remove.

Here are the simple steps.

1. open the trunk, and pop out the pin/clips connecting the bumper.

2. go look behind the rear wheels, there should be one screw facing down conecting the bumper the fender, and another facing front connecting the mud guard to the bumper. Remove them

3. look under the car, there's 2 more pin/clips connecting the bumper, pop them out.

4. slowly pull your bumper back out, there's clips that the bumper connects on to, so make sure you tug slowly and gently.

5. pull out the plug conecting to the rear license plate light.

and you're done.

very very simple, no need for pictures.

We tackled the Layton's bumper over the Memorial day weekend.
