Just like I thought... I am feeling headlight and taillight envy.

The interior looks about the same, though. Just slightly different...nothing too cool that I wish I had. Especially that gauge cluster. I like the previous design much better.

The pics from the top differ slightly from the pics from the Japanese magazine. If anybody has a bigger scan of those magazine pages, I can try and translate them (for anyone interested)

 

Seems like a lot of people like the new head and taillights.

I like the 00-03 style better, the new ones seem too busy. New lights make the s2 look like a bug.
Front bumper is growing on me.
The new metal interior trim on the console looks pretty nice.

Ill reserve my final judgement till I see it in person of course

I love it! Those mag pics are not real, and I personally think they should not be in the origionaly post, but that is just my opinion.

But yes, I do love the new design, and I can not wait to get mine. I am going to put a deposit down ASAP.

Edit : No offence back-cracker, I just dont think they fit.

 

Besides toning down the 00 - 03 pimp red interior - and with some nice detailing,

It just doesn't do it for me.

 

I bet there will be a few seats, center consoles and radio covers being swapped from MY00-03 for MY04...I will certainly look into it.

Though seems to me that the new console will not be compatible with pre-04 models...any thoughts??

I think that the taillights and the headlights, and some of the front bumper is accurate.
