Whats up junkies.....

Well, as we all know, Im never satisfied, so I decided to throw in a DVD player, TV Tuner, and 7" widescreen.

Equipment used:

Blaupunkt DVD-ME3 (the only difference between this one and the ME2 is that
the ME3 has a built in TV Tuner.)

Alpine KCA-801B This allows you to use an AUX input while retaining the full Ai-Net capability.

Xenarc 7" TFT LCD Widescreen 700V. After exaustive research, I have concluded that these are pretty much the best screens you can buy. The best screens (alpine, eclipse) hover in the 315,000 pixel area. This screen has well over 1.1 million. I played Shrek on it, and it looked incredible. My friends had Pioneer widescreens, as well as other brands, and there is simply no comparison.

Now for some pics. I havent finished yet due to the fact that I got screwed with my monitor mount, so more pics will follow on monday night (im expecting the mount on monday)

The Player...Its quite small, especially for one that has a TV tuner built into it.

This is the Alpine adapter. Notice the 2 RCA jacks, for the AUX...one Ai-Net goes to the changer, xm, and stuff, and the other to the headunit.
the blue wire is the trigger wire for the AUX audio...basically an audio remote wire.

Gutted my dash to run wires, splice wires, and store my acorns for the winter.

Seat was removed for wiring, and mounting the player. If you look closely, youll see at the bottom of the pic, the stock seatbelt sensor wire, which has a perfect hole in the carpet for a stealthy installation. And boy were there a lot of wires.

Here is the player mounted on the bottom of the seat. This part was cake.
By the way, our seats are easy to steal!

This is what it looks like flat on the floor. Keep in mind, the seat actually bolts on 1.5 inch "lifts" so the player when in the car, isnt even close to the floor. You cannot mount anything on the floor instead of the seat, because the seat flares are the rear, and will knock whatever you mount on the floor. Even in this pic, the player isnt touching the floor. You can still slide a credit card clear under it.

Stay tuned, more pics of final installation coming shortly.
