Well, here you go guys, as promised, pics of the final install. There will be some changes though. I will wrap the gooseneck in black leather, instead of that cheap garden hose looking crap. I will also take pics of the screen at night, because these pics dont do it justice. I researched exaustively on what screen to get, and I can honstly tell you guys, and remember, I am a fan of Alpine, Pioneer, and Eclipse....none of their screens even compare to Xenarc. The top of the line screens from Alpine, Panasonic, and Eclipse produce about 332,000 or so pixels for a 7" widescreen. Remember, these three are considered the best. The Xenarc screen annihilates them all with an astounding 1.19 million pixels. The image is flawless, as if it were glass. Ill take some night shots soon so you guys can tell the quality for yourselves. Local guys can hit me up to see it.

Here are the pics......

Gooseneck.....the two silver screws will be gone after I get my leather.

Closer look

From the driver's seat....

From passenger seat...

DVD player Boot up

Switch I needed to install to switch AUX on/off

The best movie to test out clarity...too much sun, so it ruins the image...those red dots are not there in person....its the lighting bouncing off the pixels.

Again, closer look, check out my man Shrek, lookin fine as ever...

i like... kudos man.

when you stow/hide it -- where does it go? and how discreet is it? i know you had some theft problems w/ your previous system...

the more i look at it, the more i like it... clean, minimalist, and functional.

Keep my eyes on the road??? I dont turn it on while Im driving. I wanted to make sure everything was ok, so I took it around the block....remember, I have lived here for about 14 years...almost ran 2 stop signs, and hit a parked van.

I dont DARE watch it while I am driving.

The gooseneck extends all the way to the bottom of the dash, or under the passenger seat. I usually just fold it to the passenger seat, and throw a jacket over it. However, most of the time, i dont park my car in areas where I feel remotely uncomfortable with leaving it there.

As for seating....it doesnt get in the way whatsoever. I am quite happy with it.

THis gooseneck is EXTREMELY strong....im a big dude, and I cant bend it with one hand. There is no vibrations of the screen when driving, only when I hit big bumps, but, cant fight the laws of physics.

All in all, I am really happy with everything, especially the screen. Ill let some local boys check it out, so they can vouch for it. I have used/installed most of the upper scale monitors, and none compare. I might take a ride to MA to check out John's ride, so Ill make him vouch.

Xenarc is the shizznit. Oh, the price I got on the screen was a retarted $240 bucks, SHIPPED. The comparable Eclipse or alpine (alpine's biggest screen is 6.5 inch) was well over 550 bucks.
