Default New MY04 top seal question

I haven't had my top up much since I bought the car but today is threatening rain so I left the top up. When I closed the passenger door I see a malformed piece of trim foam coming out around the back top of the window, where it curves down. This appears to be an extra piece of foam, thin like 1/4 inch maybe, to mate the roof material to the main seals, it seems to be glued to the main seal but the glue appears to have come loose. So when the door closes the window pushes hard against the main seal which then pulls this thin foam piece out from under the edge of the top.

Has anyone seen this?

Ok I understand it was clear as mud how I descibed it, here are the pics....

I shoved it back in there(the black arrow) it is a very tight section of roof and doesn't move when the top goes down either. It had been drawn completely out from between the roof and the seal and was dangling loose.

I made a mess of it, but I figured it would leak if I cut it away.

Happy VTECing

I am sure that your 04 is under warranty so I would just let the dealer deal with it. Looks like a defect to me.
