Geez, you guys are helpful...

The '04s have a clutch delay valve, but someone has been able to remove it, search the under the hood forum if that's what you were looking for.

Basically it delays clutch engagement, something Honda put in to decrease the number of busted differentials I'm guessing.

A lot of BMWs come equipped with this "feature." Basically it slips the clutch on aggressive upshifts to prevent grenading the diff at the expense of clutch life. It was noticeable on my M3 after shifting hard into second (felt like clutch slip.)

I haven't noticed this behaviour in my '00 S2k so I've assumed it wasn't there.
