Default dyno sheets on 75 wet shot


this is my air/fuel with nitrous...i was in four gear and engaged nitrous right after vtec.. i was very surprised how rich i was running esp. when i thought i would lean out.

this is my max power and torq. 253 on nx 75 shot, denso ik22's, aem cai, invidia exhaust.

this is my air fuel w/o nitrous... still rich...is this normal on the s2k?


i also have a untuned vafc. i'm hopeing to get that tuned and play with some different jet settings to see how much power i can make safely. hopefully next weekend.

any suggestions,or observations would be helpful

Wet kits are designed to run rich. You should be at 11:1 ideal A/F. What nitrous pressure are you running? I think the NX kit is designed for 1000psi. Any lower and you will be much richer than design since your fuel mixture is expecting much more nitrous.

the 00 and 01 run richer than 02 and up... baseline.

i think that for my car 75 looks to be ok. my air fuel tells me i'm getting pletty of fuel, i'm only squeezing after vtec engagment and letting off at 8900rpm. i have a vafc that tells me exactly what rpm i'm at.*(the stock meter was about 300rpms off). i'm still not going to go out on the street and spray away though.. i'm getting more dyno time...(lucky me my close friend has a shop) so i can play with some jets and watch my a/f.


again i don't claim to know everything so if someone else ahs some words of advice please tell me. thanks!

Are you spraying manually? I'd be slightly afraid of letting off the nitrous that close to redline. One bounce off the limiter with the nitrous flowing and bad things are going to happen. For safetys sake, I'd look into an adjustable rpm window switch before you spray it on the street.

IMO, the S needs Nitrous more down low than up top.

already plan on buying a window switch... like i said, the stock tach is off by about 300 rpms. thats why i look at my vafc. if you look on the sheet i let off at about 8700.
