Take a look at the following pictures and lets cry all together... The incident happened on Monday 12/6/06 at 02:00 while accelerating on 1st gear and the shift could not go into 2nd. So, I just put on neutral and the engine stopped running. Pressed the "Start Engine" button but the engine could not turn... My first guess was: something to do with the flywheel/clutch combo, but it wasnt so simple like that...

I will post 12 photos and they will tell you a million words...

Here is the first with my engine sitting on the bench with the cylinder head out... Tuesday the 13th!

Are you running stock engine internal parts?

 

your pictures remind me of the "Before" pictures you see on posters at the dentist

 

I had about 75000kms = 40500miles...

Am now looking at my options... One of those is the J's Racing 2.2lt 320hp engine.

 

How and why did this happen? Overrev perhaps?

 

i saw your engine before you, it's too sad to see stuff like that but that's life! I felt like it was mine...
