Angry Engine Fatality! Yep... Thats mine...!

Take a look at the following pictures and lets cry all together... The incident happened on Monday 12/6/06 at 02:00 while accelerating on 1st gear and the shift could not go into 2nd. So, I just put on neutral and the engine stopped running. Pressed the "Start Engine" button but the engine could not turn... My first guess was: something to do with the flywheel/clutch combo, but it wasnt so simple like that...

I will post 12 photos and they will tell you a million words...

Here is the first with my engine sitting on the bench with the cylinder head out... Tuesday the 13th!

A little closer...

Cylinder No.2... Here is the happening point...

A better view inside...

Top view...

Here you can see that all the metal particles went in every cylinder...

Top view of the cylinder head... Missing something?

Same question here...

Rocker arm broken...

Wanna have a look under the cylinder head at the inlet/exhaust valves...?

A closer look...

And a small bonus photo...

I can feel the 2.2lt 320hp engine coming on the way...

I had about 75000kms = 40500miles...

Am now looking at my options... One of those is the J's Racing 2.2lt 320hp engine.
