such a shocker!! How in the hell did all that happened?

at least your 2.2L 320HP will make up for the lost.
Retainers/valves...

By the way, J's racing representative is arriving to Athens in the evening for one day, just for some business (not for my engine). So... I might take him tomorrow to have a look at my engine and get his opinion as well.

Bad timing all together. I was expecting myself to take him at the track with my S...

News Update Bulletin!

After almost 20 days without my S in my hands, am really happy to say that tomorrow evening I will have my S back on the streets!

To be honest I have decided not to go for the J's Racing 2.2lt 320hp engine but for an 2.0lt OEM engine just to feel a little bit more safe.
The reason is that the compression of a tuned engine such as the J's Racing is so high, that am concerned that I will have to take care of this engine way to much. Besides J's Racing themselves advise that with the compression set more than 13:1 the engine will not last for a long life without some prior maintenance and frequent internal checkup. So for those reasons tomorrow evening I will have my baby back in my possesion and ready to smoke it again (some things will never change)!

I just want to thanks you guys for your support and I must say that those 20 days have made me think so many scenarios, even scary ones ie parting out my staff and selling my S2000, which I must say my faith and your support have put me back on track.

I feel a sentimental group S2KI hug coming up...

Thanks once again to everyone and I really appreciate your support.

Reason I say is you could do a 2.2 with upgraded dual spring valve springs to bring the revs little higher. AEM tune and you should have little bit more hp over stock with a long life. ;-)
