I was about at 9100-9200rpms when this happened so my guess is that the springs could not bring back the inlet/exhaust valves on the seat valves...
And the result was the piston on cylinder no.2 to get in contact with the valves... The rest is what you see in the pictures.

seems like a valve retaining keeper failed and dropped a valve into cyl #2 where it got crushed up.

You have an AP1 though, wouldn't that just be the redline? So isn't that not overrevving?
