Default Oil change controversy Part 39: Aussies vs US

OK -- it's well-known about the "special" break-in oil in new cars. What I've not seen answered is the question: why can't you buy this special break-in oil so that you can change oil at 600 miles (as per the Aussies) and still retain the special nature of the oil (i.e. continue with the break-in process, albeit with cleaner oil).

OK --- if no one wants to comment, how about: can you buy this break-in oil anywhere?

I don't think that you can get this oil anywhere other than the factory. As near as I can ascertain, one oil that comes close to the break-in oil is Castrol GTX. I would ask your local Honda dealer about the availability of the break-in oil.
