I would think so, b/c I don't see a CD slot...unless it doesn't play CD's....but I think it would.

Pretty expensive...but I don't know of any other HU's out there that emulates the iPod UI.

Nevermind, it does not have a CD player...but connects to a 5th gen iPod via USB cable...

WOW cool! I think I am missing something though. This can't just play iPod.... If it had a CD player and radio, it would sell like the iPhone. iAlpine anyone

Doesn't look like there's a CD player...but I hardly ever use mine anymore since I've had my iPod FM transmitter. I'm assuming there's a radio though, otherwise I don't know what the hell Alpine would be thinking. Apple did work w/Alpine on this one though. The only info I've seen so far says the 4th and 5th gen iPod will work, but only the 5th gen will display album artwork on the HU...not sure about Nanos, or the iPhone (which I will probably get b/c it's MONEY).

Because CDs are obsolete. I havent used the CD player in my car since I got the fullspeed cable.

And for the record, no, this radio does NOT have a cd player in it.

Clarion also introduced a CD-less HU that incorporated bluetooth and sd card slot.
