Details on control arm mount TSB SN040903?
Can anyone supply more details on the upper control arm mount welding TSB "SN040903 09/01/2004 Popping From Front Wheel Upper Control Arm Mount"
My plan is to have this performed before cracking starts, but not at a Honda dealer. I trust a guy that welds for a living to do more consistent welds than a tech that welds once a month.
Is it only the rear upper mounts that need to be welded? Is it a full perimeter weld or only specific regions? Is it only spot weld reinforcement? I don't want to make a guess and then get protested at Nationals!
Yes, I will be autocrossing the car with R-compounds. Hopefully a LOT!

Here is an excerpt (looks like the link I had to a pdf is broken):

This problem only occurs to vehicles that have been driven repeatedly on a racetrack or in autocross events. If there is a gap
between the mounting bracket and the frame rail, use the following repair procedure:

Awesome! Thank you!
I'll get it stitch welded like in those pictures.
The best part is the "large hammer".
I'm surprised they don't have a special part number for that!
