Has anyone had experience with this bulletin or does anyone know the sollution for fixing this particular tsb? I did not find any info on it using the search function.

If it's the one I'm thinking about, it was a TSB aimed directly at autocrossers that continually stress the spot welds for the upper arm attachment to the body. Several folks have had to seam weld these spots and there was a possibility that a protest was going to be lodged at the National finals. With the TSB in hand, providing a factory-authorized fix, the threat went away.

You'd know the problem by inspecting the welds and/or by the "oil-can" sound made after welds start failing and the metal starts moving more freely.

Thanks for the info. The spot welds for the upper-arm are in the rear or the front?
Do you have any pics?

I would also be interested in this problem. I'm getting a creaking/popping sound from my passenger front suspension. I looked at everything on a hoist and it all looks good. I couldn't imagine the welds going on a 2004. Should I just grease and re-tighten all the control arm bolts? All the posts on this board seem to be about the rear axle popping but there are none addressing the popping coming from the front.

thanks for the input

Do you have a stock swaybar or an aftermarket one? The urethane bushings on my Comptech squeak/clunk, especially when wet. I've never removed the bushings to grease, re-wrap with Teflon tape or added the Zerk fittings for easy greasing.

I did some searching and found a solution other than spoon sports A arm
bracket fix. Jun auto makes a product also. Here is the link.

Interesting. I wonder how much? and who can get these?
My noise is coming from the rear though, I know this because going over bumps with just the rear pass. side creates the popping noise.
