Default AP2 valve cover on a AP1

I ordered an ap1 valve cover from majestic honda, but unfortunately they sent me an ap2 cover. i'm aware the pcv valves are different, but i was wondering if an ap2 valve cover would work on an ap1. (PCV valves aside, of course)

thx

I am on both of my AP1 motors. Just order the PCV valve. Same hose works for both. In fact, the cover and PCV valve are better on the AP2 design. Less oil gets trapped, so their is less blow by in hi-speed corners on the track.
