Default Countersunk Titanium Shift Knobs

Guys I'm in the market for a spherical countersunk titanium shift knob (preferrably as low and heavy as possible). This isn't exactly the cheapest purchase so I'd like to do some research before I make the purchase. Listed below are what I've found to be the most popular choices. Which knobs do you guys recommend or recommend against and why? Comparisons would be very much appreciated also. Please let me know if I've forgotten any knobs on the list below.

1. VooDoo Titanium Shift Knob (284 grams)

2. T1R T182R Titanium Shift Knob (182 grams)

I can tell you one thing, the spherical knobs are insanely comfortable to use. I like them much more than the oblong knobs such as the Alex Eggo or the T1R B-Max II. So J's or T1R B-Max for me.

Thanks Matt. I too have been a firm believer in these knobs ever since I picked up a spun alluminum knob from Rick's. Does anybody know how much the J's Racing and ARC knob weigh? The T1R knob looks great but I've read that it's about half an inch in diameter smaller than the VooDoo knobs and weigh about the same as the alluminun VooDoo knobs.

Whats wrong with the one you got? I cant imagine the titanium ones are going to be that much better. Especially for the price they command.

I actually sold it along with my AP1 a few weeks ago so now I'm looking to purchase a new one for my AP2. I've always found the alluminum knob to be a bit on the light side so the 100 or so added grams from the titanium knob should feel great.

Oh ok, gotcha. I just cannot justify spending the extra cash for titanium, although they do look sweet.

I just ordered teh T1R, but for our Fit and not the S2000, as my wife doesn't wan't me messing around with the tranny on the S.

I expect it to be very good for the Fit, but I think I would want a little more weight if changing anything at all on the already suberb transmission on the S.

ARC

Just like you i wanted a low and heavy. Most if the Ti stuff is way too light for my feel. The ARC is Ti but weighted inside. About the same weight as stock.

i have the Alex EGGO knob. it's super light, which i LOVE. it also feels nice in your palm. but according to your criteria, you want heavy.
