Default IPOD Connection

Those of you that have an IPOD...how do you make it talk to the S2000 radio?

Are you using FM transmitter? I use FM transmitter to broadcast on weak FM band. It works well but when you are in a city, it doesn't work as well.

Haven't opened it yet. It's coming from the North Pole. . We have a portable XM unit that we used to use on the now-defunct BMW. We had to tune into a weak station and it would broadcast that way. Of course, as you travel between states, the stations change and you're always searching for the next great "weak station". I was hoping there was more of a direct plug-in.

Shoot Phil (Ruined2) an email, he knows everything about them. He did a great job hooking mine up.

IIRC, OR has the CD Changer (won in one of the first - if not THE first - Ohio Rt. 26 runs) installed, so using that link would mean unplugging the CD changer.

Of course, with the IPOD, who needs a changer? I'll take yours off of your hands, Carmen!

P.S. - I have one of those for our Accord. Works great!

I have an AP1. So I use a Monster iPod transmitter that has about ten FM channels to broadcast in the lower spectrum of the FM band. It works great in rural areas but not so well in NYC where all the FM frequencies are used.

If one has an AP2 there is a company that makes an interface that plugs into the head unit like the OEM CD changer does that emulates the CD changer and shows your iPod's play list on it's display just as if it was a CD.

Please post whatever you come up with, Carmen. I have an iPod but haven't attempted to hook it up in my '05 Suzuka baby.
