I have the factory iPod Link on my '06. Avoid it. Mine has been replaced 3 times so far, and the Honda software is about the cheesiest I've ever seen. Sound is good, though, when it works.

Carmen,

I got rid of the stock radio/CD player.

I am using the JVC iPod adapter which is hardwired to my JVC headunit. It works better than other units which use a FM transmitter. I can use the same adapter with my Sirius radio receiver.

The only downside is that scrolling through the iPod display is extremely slow. I think JVC has a newer generation iPod unit that scrolls much faster.

I installed the OEM unit and agree that the software is terrible and the installation was a pain but for me it has worked just fine. I like it better than the setup that Honda out in my Civic SI.

Word of warning:

the PIE iPod connector does not work with the new iPod Touch!!!!!!
I thought that all iPods had the same connector.

That is too bad, since I asked for a Touch for Christmas with the idea that I could connect it to my car. Blah.

Anyone come accross one that works with the Touch????? Other than the FM type.
