Default CAI Vs. Snorkel

I know this topic has been covered alot..but i cant make up my mind.

either to get a CAI or a snorkel..i got a drop in filter but when i hear other s2k's with CAI on them i just want one really bad.

hydro lock isnt a problem, heat is in the other hand

i just want the best out of these two..

waiting for replies to order..

Thanks.

I bought a snorkel off ebay, very nice product, and i like it alot. you don't get the sound like the other cai but it is functional and it looks good. I say why ruin a good intake box, just improve it.

Which do you want...maximum performance or maximum sound? Once you figure out which is more important to you, there is your answer. I choose power for myself, my exhaust is plenty loud.

When using those ebay snorkels with the factory airbox is the hood clearance? any modifications needed to fit?
