Default dyno'd the CR

I am reluctant to post these results just because most people dont understand that the dyno is a tuning tool, not a "number producer" of sorts. I am really just posting this to help those that are wondering what kind of power increase you can get from these mods.

this is the result I got today. mods to date:

Megan header
Berk test pipe
alluminum 2.5" exhaust with magnaflow mufflers
K&N intake
Hondata reflash (toda)
VAFC
Hondata intake manifold gasket
ap1 intake cam

second is my base line run when I just had megan header and Hondate IM gasket vs. what I have today.

conclusion:

car feels fantastic, its just a blast to drive. I believe I have reached the limit of the megan header. I am saving to put a good header on the car like the J's or Hytech, I think there is prolly a few more ponies in this setup with a quality header.
Also, I dont think the ap1 intake cam is worth it unless you can basically do it for free.

please, I dont need any "my stock car made what your car did" comments.

my stock car made what your car did.

I KEED I KEED! LOL!
On another note how are you enjoying that hondata reflash??? Does it make the car way more fun to drive with vtec being way lower? Im saving now to get the reflash bc it seems every bit worth it!

Nice, good numbers, what makes you believe the ap1 is not worth it, look like your peak power doesnt trail off too badly up top considering the header you are running.

ya, I should have wrote about the reflash. It is great! the lower vtec is good but the best part is how the low end is so smooth and more responsive. You will definately gain midrange power just like they advertise. when we put it on the dyno it was running 12:1 afr from 5000rpm up, so its definately safe.

I just dont think the ap1 cam is worth it UNLESS you can do the swap yourself and get the cam real cheap. just my .02

and, I forgot to get a printout to rpm. we were reving the car to 8500rpm.

BTW did you opt out of having the AC since you've got a CR?

just look at that fat improvement throughout the rev range! Nice!

I wonder if the power would have dropped more sharply @ 8200 with the ap2 cam vs the ap1 cam you have on now.
