Scott did you dyno at Racerelated? I just dynoed my car there last weekend. I installed the Neo Vafc. My car pulled 207whp with a k&n drop in, berk testpipe and Fujistibo exhaust. After installing the Vafc and tune i pulled 215whp. I lowered the Vtec to 4k because that is were it was the smoothest. The car feels good but not much faster. I'm not used to hitting vtec at 4k and not sure if i like it better. The car ran smoother for daily driving with out the vafc but is faster on the tune. It's hard to make good gains with this car. Twanksta dynoed 218 stock and he pulled me when i had 207. The newer cars pull good #'s.

VTAK @ 4K N/A???? Can you post a dyno plot of that run?

On boost we have gone as low as 3800 on certain built motors and FI apps on the S2K, but NA seems to stumble a little when you try to pop hi-cam. Now every car is different, but having hundreds of hours on the dyno with the S2K, I see some pretty linear motors and they all are about the same, built or not, boost or NA.

why did they dyno the car in third gear? your graph shows power over speed, and third gear is right around 80mph which jives with your graph. thought everyone dynos in fourth to be as close to 1:1 as possible. do you have the dyno files?

About what I would expect, maybe a couple hp less but you tuned at 95 degrees.

Why the Hondata reflash AND the VAFC?

Speed on the x-axis is the most accurate way of reflecting one's output and not RPM since the latter could introduce RF that would skew the data slightly. I experienced ~2 HP difference with my runs.

And yes, do you happen to have the actual files? I'd love to lay them over mine and compare with an SAE and not STD correction factor.
you may be right but dynoing in 3rd like the OP vs 4th would yield quite a difference, when i used to dyno in 4th vs 3 rd i would see 10 hp difference.

my vtec is set at 4000rpm as well.

yes, the run was done in 3rd. dont ask why.

dyno'd at Race Related. you cant compare Twanskta dyno numbers to yours or mine.

all I have is the print out.

The Hondata reflash was running at 12:1 afr, so I used the vafc to fine tune the afr.

my car only has 5400 miles as well, she may still be breaking in...he he
