man ohh man!!!!!!! if its not one thing its another, is there no cure..

i just noticed my driver side HID doesnt work, it flickers when i turn it on and then dies, sometiems it stays on for a few seconds but then it dies out.........

anyone know what the problem is??? im thinking its the inverter,
but im not to sure, funny though, i get my car back after fixinf the roof latches and it comes out with another problem, ........

where is there a good dealer that has done this fix before??

What's an inverter?

My understanding was that there were three parts to a HID system, the igniter, the ballast and the bulb. Sounds like your ballast has gone.

 

Thats the same problem that happend to my passenger side HID. Dealer changed the bulb...nothing

Had to drop it off again and they diagnosed it as the inverter. That was what I originally told them. Had to order the part...took a week to get cuz it was the only one left in Canada. Came from Montreal.

Inverter came in and finally fixed the HID last tuesday......Im happy. Now i dont need to drive with my DRL at night

 

LOL....... im laughin because if you got the last inverter in canada in gonna be waitin ages before one is sent from JAPAN.......
