Default 06 s2k crash fatality

http://www.modbee.com/local/story/554057.html
watch the vid (look at rear tires)

basically both guys died, first one died on impact and the other at the hostpital.
They were driving and supposably passing up slower cars, when he lost control and spun around and the truck hit them.

Please guys change ur tires. As you can see his were bald and even VSA cant save bald tires.!!!!!!

no real information on that, they estimate he was doing 50mph and the slower traffic was doing 25mph..
Im wondering if he was whereing a seatbelt.

I hit a concrete wall going backwards at probably 70 mph (on track) and it did less damage than that. However, I suspect the truck concentrated the impact into a smaller and higher point. Looks like the main structure of the frame may have dove under the main structure of the truck, this allowing the damage to get much farther into the passenger area of the car than it would have if the contact was bumper-to-bumper.

Sadly, most people that buy S2000s are too cheap to put the RIGHT tires on there, which are the OEM spec ones. Trying to save a few bucks can kill you. If you cannot afford to put the right tires on a car, do not buy it. Plain and simple.

he spun out and hit an oncoming vehicle, so the force of impact is significantly more than hitting a wall at 70.

wall = 0 mph, no momentum...
truck = say he was only doing 25mph * 4500lbs of truck = a lot of momentum
