So a couple of weeks ago I am at the gas station filling up (leaving for the beach the next day). Some guy in an Evo IX walks over to me and asks to see under the hood. I proceed to show him my newly installed SOS AC Supercharger. He asks how much hp. I told him around 350 (Haven't dynoed yet). He tells me his Evo is pushing 360 to the wheels. He takes a couple pics with his cell and walks off. I finish pumping gas and proceed to pull out on the highway. As I am driving home I hear a BOV. I am thinking great. He pulls beside me and wants to do a third gear run. I say sure and he tells me to honk it off. My heart starts pounding as I downshift to third. I honk it off and we both go WOT at the same time. We are dead even. He shifted, guess what, I am only at 7k. When he shifts I pull a half a car then shift into fourth at about 8300 and start walking away steadily. I put about 4-5 cars by the end of fifth. All I can say is this kit kicks ARSE!!!!

He wasn't putting down 360 to the wheels. If you ever hear an Evo with a BOV it's safe to say the owner had no idea what they were doing.

He was probably somewhere in that area. If you would have met the kid, or guy, you would know he didn't know what he was doing. He was one of those late 20's guys who reminds you of Goofey.

 

I love the guys with Evos that the first mod's they do is Intake and BOV... ROFL.. GJ making the car slower .

 

His car wasn't that slow. We were even til he shifted to fourth then I started walking away. I had 4 or 5 cars by the end of fifth so it was modified. I did notice he had an exhaust.
