I just changed the TCT, and the valvetrain noise is still happening. Just a history, I just changed my ap1 retainers and keepers to ap2's about 2 weeks ago. Ever since, I've noticed a tapping sound coming from my engine bay. I'm thinking valve adjustment.

Can anyone come through or meet me up somewhere to check out the sound to get a second opinion? I want to see if I'm just paranoid or I am really hearing valve tap. Please let me know ASAP. I'm trying to get this done atleast by this week. I do not want to take any chances. I would like to get OEM valve adjustments done.

Where are you located? How far you willing to drive?

 

i live in Northern VA. For the right person, almost anywhere. Just want everything done correctly

However, the closer the better. I do not want to put too much load on the engine traveling too far.
