Default What digital camera do you guys take pictures with?

Hi, this might be slightly off topic, but I have seen a lot of excellent pictures from this forum and am interested to know what brand and model of digital cameras you guys use.

I'm a newbie in this kind of stuff so I hope someone can help.

I have some questions. What do you guys recommend I get for taking good pictures just to upload to the computer? and is user friendly and easy to use by hand?

This is a photo I took using a friend's pentax, I think it has 4.x megapixels or something? and that's supposed to be quite good? but is that why I can see crooked lines?

Thanks in advance.

Well it may be a 4 mega pixel camera you used, but the shot you printed is actually only 640X480 pixels, which is veryr low res and the reason you're getting those jagged lines which are called 'aliasing'. You should take the shots at a higher res. to avoid this problem, the pics will be far better quality. Then upload them to s2ki at the higher res you take them at.

There are so many good digital cameras on the market now that it all comes down to how much you want to pay and what you intend to do with your shots. There's no point in 4 or 5 mega pixel shots unless you intend to print the results. 2-3 mega pixels is fine for publishing stuff on the web and viewing on your monitor.

I'd look for a good zoom range, USB connection, as large a media storage card as you can get. After that a big consideration is size. Do you want it to be pocketable or not. It can be a drag carrying a large camera all day.

You'll find loads of threads on this subject if you do a search.

That fat guy was right, so chill out. In Canada the GP whites come with the same blue interior as the Suzuka Blue here in the states...

Sorry I don't really know for sure what combos they can get in Japan. I just noticed that in the Japanese website, you can customize your car with any combo of exterior and interior and top color, so I assumed they're all possible in Japan.
