Congrats! I love my SB ..Located in SF I see? Hope to run into you sometime! The answer to the questions

1. Two holes, you will need some goo-gone to remove the leftover tape when you peel it off.

2. I believe that is the alarm unit. But you said it's not connected to anything?
yeah, central SF. you in the bay area? i bought it from a guy in the east bay who mostly kept it in the garage except for when he's out scraping the front bumper. i'd also love to check out some local meets if they are happening. i've found it to be one of the best ways to learn about the car aside from forums like this.

i can't actually see the wire but it's just dangling under the seat. where does it plug in?

Glad to see you found the problem. I'm located in the East Bay, the best meets are in Milipitas though (strictly s2k) but if you're looking for a diverse group, check out 2Slow in Union City every thursdays also known as Too Slow Thursdays. I'm about to get a ASM bumper, mine has a lip and is in great condition. PM me if interested

Most likely the seatbelt warning. I unplugged them on my 1990 CRX to avoid it

Welcome to the club.
yup, it was the warning light. realized today that the thing never comes on...

put a little over a hundred miles on the car this weekend. had no idea it was going to be this much fun to drive a convertible!

it should be in your tool box (if it came with one). Previous owner said he "lost" my tool box. Its cool though, I bought a T1R tow hook instead, the oem one is small and looks ugly.

hmmm... fished around in the trunk and around the spare but couldn't find a "tool box." any idea where it's supposed to be?

Welcome to the club If you don't got a toolbox then you don't have the oem tow hook. Here's the one I bought, screws on just like OEM but longer, 2 angles and colored

EDIT: looks really nice in the rear especially since you have Suzuka Blue

damn. they got rid of all your tools?

you could prob replace it but to be honest there really is no need.
a stock wheel with a tire doesnt even fit anywhere in the car (esp if you have a passenger) so there really is no point in having a spare and tools to change it with..
