2006 S2000 or 2006 RSX Type S
I have owned both cars and have liked them both. I would take the S over the RSX anyday but I am currently driving an RSX as it is my second in line of Acura and Honda vehicles I can afford right now. I have toda header, aem V2,comptech exhaust, and K-pro. Just with these it pulls pretty good but it is hard to compare to an S because I have not raced one yet. I am going all motor and have parts on the way called IPS. For those that know they make some serious cams for the k series and a serious IM now too.
The S is an awesome car and when properly built only gets better.
Whatever choive you make I think you will be happy.
Just a thought though....what about an NSX?

So, now I am at a crossroad.. I either want to get a 2006 Laguna Blue S2000 or a 2006 Vivid Blue RSX Type S.
Which one would better to get, and why?
Will RSX's hold their value due to being discontinued?
How hard is it to make an RSX as fast as an S2000?
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

05 type-s will be a notch faster than an s2k with just cai/rh/e. Most run high 13's and dyno over 200whp. Having had both, rsx is a lot more practical with much more trunk space. s2k looks better, handles better, overall a much better built car.

nice punch line
If you go from an S2000 to an RSX you will be disappointed, in my opinion. There is something about the S2000's overall ride and handling that is indescribable in words. Never mind "oh I want to go fast." Driving is more than just speed...its the overall feeling and experience...and an RSX cannot hold a candle to the S in that department.

It adds up.
He doesn't own a 2005. Otherwise, he wouldn't be asking this question. When he signed up he either planned on buying one soon, so listed it in advance, or he simply wanted it to say "owner" instead of "enthusiast".
If I'm wrong, I'd be surprised.

Someone mentioned that "there is just something different in the ride between the two." Yeah, there is. We have double wishbone suspension all around. RSX, Civic, Si... they all have Macphersons up front. Having owned an 03 Si in the past, there is NO comparison between the ride/handling of the two. The S2000 is so much stiffer, smoother, and dare I say comfortable than the others. Hit a bump with the S2000 and it soaks it up quitely. Hit a bump with an Si or RSX and feel like the front end is taking the biggest hit you can throw at it.
Just my thoughts.
