Default 2007 S2000 brand new

Just went to my local Honda dealer in SoCal and found a brand new "Odometer reads 56 miles" 2007 black on black S2000.I've tried to reason with them but they would not go below 29K + tax and lic. That is the color I want although I would've liked an 08 but they were out of stock.
What is a good price for something like that?Any ideas?
Thanks

danny, welcome to the site. If you hunt around somemore, you might be able to do a little better; with that said, that's not too bad... if it was the color I wanted and local, I would probably pull the trigger. Best wishes with the hunt.

A friend of mine just got a new 07 GPW out the door for about 26,500. It also had around 50 miles on it. This was in NC though. Apparently the dealer was just trying to unload it. He found another 07 with lower miles for about the same price, but it was not the color he wanted. Your area I'm sure is different, but you should be able to find a better price if you shop around. Don't be scared to drive a little out of your way to find the car and price that you want.

Below 30k for sure. 56 is a few test drives too, so that's a negotiating point. I think 29 otd cash is a solid shot. fyi, i was 30.7 otd (27.7 + tax and fees) in oct last year in norcal

29K + TTL is crazy for that car. NADA says clean retail for a 2007 with 56 miles is 28,200. I still think that is high as many have posted about buying leftover 07's in the 27K range.

Check this thread:

This person paid 26K out the door for an 07 with 4K miles. Your car shouldn't be much different...
