Default Hey s2ki.com

Hey s2ki.com.

No I dont own a s2k, but I hope to in the soon future so I just wanted to say wutup to the community over here. I currently own a 91LS Legend Coupe and a 89 E34 535i so I'm not too much of a noob when it comes to Hondas.

Honestly I'm tired of buying cars that are so old, parts are harder to find, more expensive, etc, etc. I'm looking for this s2k to be a daily driver that will be as reliable as possible.

I've been browsing this site for the past few days reading up on all the newbie material I can find. My only worry is cabin/headroom size due to me being 6'4. I've been reading about the drivers seat lowering DIY, is that still the best method to go about that? Or is the bulletproof automotive a better method? I just want to make sure I will have some sort of solution prior to making the decision to buying the car.

Other than that, I just have one super noob question which I couldn't find the answer to. With the hardtop on, is the stock softop still installed under it? Or is it a one or the other type thing?

Thanks for any answers, I look forward to becoming a part of this community, I just have to sell both my cars first lol.

Here's a snap of my two girls as of now.

nice man, your cars look nice. As for the hardtop the top can just be lowered. As for lowering the seats, both methods work fine. I think the lowered seat rails would be an easier method, but both ways work to lower the seat.

Welcome aboard! Ian - covered your questions very well. The soft top is in the down position when the hardtop is on. The S2000 is a very reliable car, one 2001 model has 172K on it with few repairs done.

BTW - Nice rides, I love the Legend!

Nice Legend!!

I have a 91, too....white 4 door, but not in nearly as good shape as yours.

But I'm not much of a honda guy...owned MR2s for the past 20 years...still own one.

Don't quite get the fascination with FWD...lol! Never will...

You'll love the S2k, though. And may I recommend NFR as the absolute best color...

Good luck!
