When is the official end of production date and does anyone know if Honda is producing the typical of S2000's this model year vs. years past?

Still on the fence on purchasing an S2000 and am trying to find out if I have waited too long. Here in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota the availability is VERY limited at the dealers.

Any advice appreciated.

 

I don't know if anyone really knows for sure when production will officially end - some think it may have already ended. In any event, if you are looking for a certain color and come across it at a fair price, I'd grab it as I know of a few people that are on the hunt for color-specific cars and having no luck. Changes between MY08 and MY09 seem to be very few and limited to minor cosmetics.

8 Ball is right. You may be limited to what you can find. If you can't find the color want, you'll have to ask the dealer if you can order. In 2006, I was limited to the S's on the lot and the one or two that the dealer would be getting in within a few weeks. This was in July of 2006. It's not going to get any better than it is right now IMO.
