another vote for the amuse widebody. Def. the best widebody for the S right now although i believe u might be able to go wider than 10" in the back w/ that kit. I've seen some people on the boards go as wide as 10.5 i believe w/o the widebody. And good job on the swap man. my only concern is the handling... could u give us a before and after impression??
Yeah, the before and after handling, honestly, it handles the same!! I couldnt beleive it myself but this thing whips through corners just like it did, it gained a total of 147 lbs. and i equally spread that toward the rear if you think about it, the tranny is heavier, and the motor goes back 2 full inches more than the f20. The 300zx rearend wieghs a little more, i dont know how it happened, i was sure the balance would be effected, but i was wrong. It handles like a dream, and that may also have to do with my custom front sway-bar i had to build. This s2 really drifts well, you just feather the throttle and it glides throught corners like a champ!! Sorry so slow on the vids and pics, just been so busy, building the third one now, have you guys seen the yellow one on our website?? www.fiftyfiftyracing.com

Hey Welcome to the forums man. That is a sick swap no doubt but I have a few questions for you if you don't mind. Why a 2JZ? They are very heavy motors for the little S2000. Why not Build an F20C and keep the overall balance of the car? Or How about a SR20DET Swap? Maybe RB26 next? They are a bit lighter and you can get great power from them.
My moto obviously is "GO BIG OR GO HOME!!!" , I drive a 94 850hp Supra also, and i just LOVE the sound of a 2jz screaming under heavy boost. The way it comes in and pushes that heavy car and pins you in the seat so hard. I immagined, how would that feel in the s2? Almost 1000 lbs lighter?? WOW! Because i also LOVE my s2000!! I love the way it looks and handles, but lacks power. So lets combine the best of both, and keep Honda's reliability, and good looks and great handling, and also have Toyota's reliability and the power and sound of the 2jz! Man what a Frankenstein i created, it truely is the best of both worlds, and im glad i had the balls, and followed my instinct on this one. Ive done some crazy shit before, but you dont think i was a little worried?? I was scared half way into it, i almost gave up and went back, but i went with my confidence in myself, and the other guys with 50/50, and it payed off. It took 31 days start to finish.

well nice to finally see you on the board!!!

the car is just plain silly!!! and i would def say go with the Amuse GT1 widebody
Hide behind one and you may survive!!! But seriously, the 2jz can handle 900hp on stock internals, SAFELY! These motors are plentiful, cheap, they make everything for them as far as aftermarket goodies, bulletproof reputable Getrag tranny's, those 6 speed getrags can hold 1500 hp!! And you can put a HUGE T4 turbo on them, really cool to pop the hood at meets. Anyway, these are a few reasons i went with the 2jz. Not knocking on Honda's motors at all, im a 13 year Honda/Acura Technition at the dealership, ive owned many Honda's, and love the F20C motor. It just takes too much money to build one to handle over 800hp reliably, how long do 800 hp f20c's last?? How often do things go wrong, and keep costing more money? Im a true Honda Freak, i just wanted my S2000 to be 800hp, and last forever. And if i ever did blow the motor, a used jdm full engine with 30k on it costs $1500. A cheap recovery huh?

Well that is serious my main concern was the handling. That is great that you achieved what you where looking to do. If you would be interested in doing an SR20DET swap let me know I would def be interested in that. Congrats once again.

My last car was a 1jz in a supra. I loved all 1 or 2 jz cars, they have great torque and the engines were nearly bullet proof. What turbo are you running on the 2jz, you're running the getrag tranny?? Just a factory 2j with minor bolt ons has a lot of hp for a lil car like the s2k. Must be a sick ride. Gotta come down to FL to see your car. Sounds sick.
