After dream about it for 6 Years, got my AP2 !
Hey folks, i've been a member for some time now, dreaming, enjoying the posts of gorgeous machines...
and now i got mine ! im happy as a child in Christmas morning ! its been with me for a couple weeks now !
i have quite the ideas about what i wanna do with it, is gonna be my toy/daily drive, but not for long rides, for that i have my other beast, 2009 Acura TL that i also love !
Long story short, i found this 2008 AP2 sitting in a small wonderland for gearheads located in New Milford, CT.
Noah was his name, he had quite the collection there ! NSXs, Lexus, Supra, Corvette Stingray, Lotus, IntegraType R, Lancer Evo... he was pretty straight saying that people were calling giving ridiculous offers and etc...
being a S2k lover for a long time, i knew how much that car worth it, and i said to him on the phone, im not going to give you a hard time over it, dont worry ! And as a plus, this one is a single owner !
The car was pretty good looking over the pictures, but when i got there, i was amazed, the black color was in very good shape, no rips in the seats, ahhh those black seats with red stitches !!!
It came with a brand new top, Stock all around except for the stereo.
Enough said, im sorry if im too excited, but im sure that you guys are going to understand, right ? Haha !

Nice. How many miles on it? And what's that clutch pedal looking thing hanging off the pillar? Sounds like I'm always echoing Chuck, but yeah put the airbox cover back on. I don't even think it sounds cool unless by cool you mean noisier and slower.

Definitely do the flashpro. It really helps the driveability in that you gain some usable midrange power and don't hit vetch mid corner. It doesn't turn the car into something its not, but the accentuation of the positives is well worth it. All you need is a Berk HFC 63.5mm for stock exhaust. According to Gernby, a bigger one is counterproductive unless you go with aftermarket exhaust and/or header (not sure exactly which one or if both are required for 70mm HFC to help).

You will need hearing protection with the Invidia Q300 and the N1 is louder! A buddy and I fitted Q300s two years ago and both removed them in a couple of weeks as the exhaust is painful (no exaggeration). Q300 was in excess of 105dBA on my OSHA calibrated noise meter.
Berk 63.5m high flow cat, Tanabe Medalion Touring dual exhaust, and a Gernby FlashPro tune (VTEC at 3600 rpm) works wonderfully on my car. No need for a deafening exhaust. Hear any exhaust on another car before deciding. Sound clips are useless as the recording device clips the noise level and our computers couldn't reproduce it if they didn't.
